I’ve got Face Off tonight, Who Do You Think You Are tomorrow, and two upcoming StF eps starring Cedric to look forward to. :)

this kid I haven’t talked to in like a year and a half now just messaged me on facebook and said “here’s a useful bit of information you could find useful” and then he sent me a Scooby Doo family tree that is so detailed it has characters only seen in the comic book that I didn’t even know existed

it’s worth noting I didn’t censor his name; he is on facebook as “Nick” and nothing else

Anonymous;
Do you ever think you'll stop drawing fanart? No offense it just seems like the kind of thing you're supposed to grow out of. I'm just curious what your plans/goals are since it isn't exactly an art form that people take seriously.

Ah, fanart. Also known as the art that girls make.

Sad, immature girls no one takes seriously. Girls who are taught that it’s shameful to be excited or passionate about anything, that it’s pathetic to gush about what attracts them, that it’s wrong to be a geek, that they should feel embarrassed about having a crush, that they’re not allowed to gaze or stare or wish or desire. Girls who need to grow out of it.

That’s the art you mean, right?

Because in my experience, when grown men make it, nobody calls it fanart. They just call it art. And everyone takes it very seriously.

I don’t have a gif that properly encapsulates the level of “THIS” present in this response. Bravo.

"Monsters are tragic beings. They are born too tall, too strong, too heavy. They are not evil by choice. That is their tragedy. They do not attack people because they want to, but because of their size and strength, mankind has no other choice but to defend himself. After several stories such as this, people end up having a kind of affection for the monsters. They end up caring about them."

Ishiro Honda (via ironiconion)

This quote is so rarely printed in its entirety. Fantastic.

Who the heck are Jim Lange and Robert Galey?!

Hmm. It seems that someone put their self-indulgent Mina and the Count fanfiction in nonexistent episode descriptions on tv.com AND thetvdb.com.
